With over 30 years of combined experience in the sport of purebred dogs, Thistledown Pointers was established in the early 1990's.  After several years of research in an attempt to acquire another addition to our "dog family,"  the Pointer won our hearts. 

We were impressed by :

  • their wonderful temperament

  • desire to please

  • adaptability as a companion

  • minimal health concerns

and most importantly...the inbred desire to perform the task for which they are bred.
