There are a total of 2032 dogs entered in the
2010
show, representing 164 breeds.

CONFORMATION
[1924 entries] (also
called a "Breed Show" -- a competition between dogs of the same breed
to
determine which entry conforms closest to the Standard for that breed),
and
-
OBEDIENCE [80 entries] (dogs of all
breeds competing at several levels of skill to determine which entry
comes closest to the ideal level of training for their class).

RALLY OBEDIENCE [58
entries] (dogs of all breeds competing at
several levels of skill over an established course to determine which
entry comes closest to the ideal level of training for their class.)

$6.00
(Handler accompanying Competition Entry Dog admitted free.)

FOR THE SPECTATOR:
If you are new to
attending Dog Shows, please be sure to observe the following
guidelines for Spectator Do's and Don'ts:

All parking should be accommodated at the
Main Parking Lot at the Farm Show Building. If the
Main Lot is full, spectators should use the Reserve Parking Lot on
Elmerton Avenue, to allow show participants with dogs use of
the Main Parking Lot. FREE Shuttle Service is provided
from the Elmerton Lot.

NO
strollers in the show area for the safety of both child & dog.
(A "stroller parking
area" will be provided inside the main entrance.)
-
Ask
the Handler before touching a dog.
- Dogs NOT entered in competition or NOT
participating in a Show Event are
PROHIBITED from entering the show grounds by AKC
regulations.
- Retractable Leads are NOT permitted
inside the building.
- Don't
reach into crates.
- Yes,
it is okay to clap for a favorite in the show ring, but in
Obedience wait until the end.
- If
you have questions do come to the club desk and ask.
- The
owner/breeder of your favorite dog is listed in the catalog.
- Please wait until AFTER the dog
has competed in the ring to ask questions of the Handler.

PARKING -- [Click
here for Map.] There will be a charge of $8.00 per car for
parking at the Farm Show complex, and at the reserve parking lot on
Elmerton Avenue. (Shuttle Bus service from the
Elmerton Lot included with parking fee.) Additional
Admission
Fee charged for Spectators.
RV PARKING -- Fee charged. Electric hookups are available.
RVs may not occupy a space before
11 AM on Thursday, August 12. Failure to comply with this
regulation will result in a $100 fine and the vehicle will be
required to move. For more
