In the Beginning ...

The Harrisburg Kennel Club, Inc., was founded in 1934 by a group of Central Pennsylvania dog fanciers.

Many more people have contributed along the way to make the Harrisburg Kennel Club spring show one of the top dog shows in the country. 

The current members of the HKC look forward to continuing the tradition of the sport of purebred dogs well into the future.  We look forward to serving and educating those Susquehanna Valley dog enthusiasts through classes, informational brochures, our web page, and more.
